How a powerful video transmitter works
VTX connects to the camera and 7-36V power supply. Built-in 5V/0.6A regulator powers the camera. The microprocessor generates a carrier frequency of 3.3 GHz. The power amplifier increases the signal to 3.5 watts. You control the power and channel via the IRC Tramp protocol.

The BeastFPV 3.3 GHz model operates at 7-36V (2-8S LiPo). Frequency range 3.29–3.92 GHz / 3.3–3.5 GHz. BEC output 5V at 0.6A current. Current consumption: ≤400mA at 12V (at minimum power). ≤1000 mA at 12 V (at medium power). ≤2000 mA at 12 V (at maximum 3500 mW).

The VTX is designed for ultra-long-range FPV flights. The 3.3 GHz frequency penetrates trees and buildings better than 5.8 GHz. A power of 3.5 W gives a distance of up to 15-30 km, depending on conditions. IRC Tramp control is compatible with Betaflight.
