The TrueRC Matchstick Carbon 5.8G antenna is a type of omnidirectional antenna with circular polarization. It receives and emits radio waves rotating in a spiral. This is critical for FPV flying. Unlike linear polarization, circular polarization allows you to maintain communication during any turns and maneuvers of the drone. The antenna also effectively suppresses interference from signals reflected from the ground and obstacles.
Carbon fiber in the housing not only increases strength, but also does not affect the radio performance of the antenna, maintaining precise tuning to operating frequencies. The model is available in two lengths: Long for maximum gain and range. And also a shortened Stubby for compact assemblies, where every millimeter matters. High quality manufacturing guarantees low SWR (standing wave ratio) and, as a result, a clean signal without interference.
The TrueRC Matchstick Carbon antenna is designed to operate in the standard 5.8 GHz FPV band. You can choose a right-handed (RHCP) or left-handed (LHCP) circular polarized version.
