Operating principle and application features
The SURPASS S0002P micro servo drive is designed for the lightest FPV drones, micro helicopters and miniature robots. It converts the signal from the flight controller or receiver into mechanical movement of the output shaft. Thanks to the 3.7-4.2V power supply, it can be connected directly to a 1S LiPo battery, which is used in micro-whoops.
A speed of 0.06 seconds per 60 degrees provides fast response for controlling rotating camera gimbals, cargo release mechanisms or micro-aircraft control surfaces. A torque of 0.4 kg cm is sufficient for light mechanisms. The 180 degree working angle (expandable to 360 degrees mechanically) gives flexibility in setup. The body is made of plastic, which reduces weight.
The SURPASS S0002P servo is ideal for installation on Tinywhoop drones (65-75mm), micro racing copters, lightweight FPV aircraft and robotics projects. It would be an excellent choice for controlling a miniature camera gimbal (such as for FPV shooting) or as a load-dropping actuator in micro-drones.
