Choose reliable Mitoot 5.8G FPV antennas for a stable signal and clear video
Mitoot is a Chinese brand that over the years has earned the trust of pilots around the world. The company specializes in the production of a wide range of spare parts for radio-controlled models, including the Mitoot 5.8 antenna for FPV systems. Mitoot products are known for their high quality, innovative designs and reliability, which is confirmed by many years of experience in the market. The brand offers solutions for both analogue and digital video systems, ensuring stable and clear video broadcasting in any flight conditions.
- Wide frequency range 5.6–6.0 GHz for all FPV channels.
- Circular polarization RHCP or LHCP suppresses reflections and interference.
- Gain from 2 to 3 dBi for long-range and stable reception.
- Variety of connectors: SMA, RP-SMA, MMCX, U.FL for any VTX.
- The durable housing withstands shock and vibration during hard landings.
How Mitoot 5.8G antennas work
The antenna converts the electrical signal from the video transmitter into circularly polarized radio waves. Circular polarization effectively suppresses reflected signals and interference from ground and obstacles. Thanks to a gain of 2–3 dBi, the antenna concentrates energy in the desired direction, increasing the range of reliable reception. The rugged housing protects internal components without affecting signal quality. You get a stable video image even in difficult flight conditions.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The Mitoot 5.8G antenna range covers the frequency range 5600–6000 MHz, which covers all popular FPV channels, including RaceBand. The input impedance is 50 ohms, and the standing wave ratio (VSWR) does not exceed 1.5:1. Available in RHCP (right circular) and LHCP (left circular) polarization.
The antennas are equipped with SMA, RP-SMA, MMCX and U.FL connectors for compatibility with any video transmitters and receivers. The cable length varies from 50 to 150 mm, allowing flexible placement of the antenna on the drone.
Features of the model range
The Mitoot 5.8G line is represented by several types of antennas. Omnidirectional Cloverleaf antennas provide excellent signal in all directions, ideal for freestyle and racing. Patch antennas with up to 10 dBi gain are suitable for long-haul flights where directional reception is required. Hybrid models combine the advantages of both types. All antennas have a durable ABS plastic radome that protects against impacts. For installation on a drone, options with straight and angled MMCX connectors are available.
