Lidar Siminics PAVO2E-LS-25H is the second generation of 2D laser scanners from the Chinese company Siminics. The device uses Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology with a scanning range of up to 25 meters. Thanks to PoE (Power over Ethernet), only one cable is required to transfer data and power. This makes installation quick and convenient, especially when using multiple lidars. How does lidar work?

Lidar uses ToF technology to measure the distance to objects. The laser beam is reflected from obstacles and the sensor calculates the distance based on the signal return time. The rotating mechanism scans the space 280° with a frequency of 25 Hz. The built-in processor generates a two-dimensional map of the environment with an angular resolution of 0.16°. Data is transmitted via the Ethernet interface at 100BASE-TX speed. Class I laser (905 nm) is safe for the eyes.

Light resistance exceeds 80,000 lux, allowing you to work in bright sunshine. The repeatability of measurements is ±30 mm. Power consumption is only 1.5 W at 36-57 VDC. Startup time is less than 10 seconds. Dimensions 60×60×80 mm, weight 180 g.
