Operating principle and design features
The Fi-115 2.5″ frame is the supporting base for the micro-drone. It combines a flight controller, ESC, receiver and video transmitter in a compact design. The 3mm thick, high-quality carbon fiber bottom ensures rigidity and impact resistance. A 2mm top plate and 1.5mm side plates complete the design to protect the electronics.
The 24mm high aluminum columns provide ample internal space to accommodate stacks and neatly route wires.
The holes for mounting the flight controller are made according to the 25.5x25.5 mm and 20x20 mm standards, which is compatible with most modern microcontrollers. The motor mounts have a 9mm x 9mm pitch to fit the popular 1103-1106 motors.
The Fi-115 2.5″ frame is ideal for building racing micro drones, freestyle copters and light long-range vehicles on 2.5″ propellers. The reinforced design allows the use of higher power motors without fear of frame deformation. Its compact size and lightness make it an excellent choice for indoor flights and training in confined spaces.
