The heart of the package is BETAFPV's proprietary digital video transmission system, called ArtLynk. Instead of an outdated analog signal with noise and "snow", the P1 HD VTX video transmitter transmits a full digital image in a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels at a smooth frame rate of 60 frames per second to your VR04 HD glasses. The signal delay is about 60 milliseconds. This is quite comfortable for novice pilots and cinematic flights.
The range of reliable reception is stated to be more than 400 meters. This covers the needs of most micro drone pilots. All control and configuration is carried out through the intuitive LiteRadio 4 SE remote control with the ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz protocol, which ensures reliable communication with the drone.
Technical characteristics and equipment
The BETAFPV Aquila20 HD kit comes in a convenient portable bag and includes: the Aquila20 HD Whoop drone itself on a 100 mm frame, LiteRadio 4 SE remote control, VR04 HD FPV glasses, two 2S HV 1100mAh batteries, BT3.0 charger with tester, a set of spare Gemfan 2218 propellers, USB cable Type-C, screw removal tool and user manual.
The drone is equipped with 1103 10500KV brushless motors, a 170° camera on a 1/2.9-inch sensor that supports 1080p recording, and has a take-off weight of only 127 grams. Flight time on a single charge is about 10 minutes, and charging the battery takes about 40 minutes.
