Operating principle and key technologies
The Fluke Ti480 PRO Thermal Imager captures infrared radiation from objects and converts it into a clear thermal image displayed on a 3.5-inch landscape LCD touchscreen display-6. The dedicated LaserSharp® autofocus system uses a built-in laser rangefinder to accurately target your target point. MultiSharp™ technology allows you to get perfectly sharp images at different distances, which is especially important when inspecting large objects such as industrial furnaces.
To increase detail, the SuperResolution mode is used, which creates one ultra-high-resolution image from several shots.
The built-in 5-megapixel digital camera takes visible photos, and IR-Fusion® technology overlays a heat map onto the actual image to accurately identify problem areas. Reporting features voice and text annotations for easy reporting, and built-in support for the Fluke Connect® cloud platform for instant data transfer to mobile devices. The 4 GB memory can be expanded using microSD cards.
