How does this miniature speed controller work?
The controller receives digital commands from the flight controller. It decodes them, determining the required speed for the motor. Internal power switches generate three-phase current for the motor windings. The frequency and duty cycle of the pulses control the torque and speed. This allows you to smoothly change the thrust from the motor within a fraction of a second.
