Operating principle and technical details
Brushless motor This format is a high-speed power plant. It converts electrical energy into very fast mechanical rotation. The operating principle is based on the interaction of magnetic fields. The stationary stator contains windings made of copper wire. The rotating outer rotor is equipped with strong neodymium magnets.
The ESC controller supplies three-phase current, creating a rotating magnetic field. This field causes the rotor magnets to follow it at great speed. The KV 4500 parameter means 4500 revolutions per minute for each volt of supply. On a 3S battery (12.6V), the motor can develop up to 56,700 rpm idle.
