Operating principle and design features
The Mypanda 5.8G 3DB antenna belongs to the class of active omnidirectional antennas. The built-in signal amplifier compensates for cable losses and improves the performance of the video transmitter (VTX) or receiver. A low standing wave ratio (VSWR ≤1.5) means that reflected energy is minimal and almost all power is radiated into the air.
The wide frequency range of 5150–5850 MHz allows the antenna to be used on any channels, including RaceBand. The 10V DC power can be supplied via a signal cable or a separate wire, allowing flexible connection to a variety of drone models.
