TrueRC is a Canadian manufacturer of premium antennas founded in 2014. The brand specializes in antennas for FPV, long-range flights and professional applications. TrueRC products are intended for both hobby pilots and industrial applications in cinematography, security and IT. The company produces not only the CORE line, but also other top models. For example, the Singularity series is the brand’s most compact and technologically advanced antennas.

The flagship model Singularity Stubby provides cross-polarization rejection from -15 to -30 dB, surpassing CORE in this parameter. TrueRC also creates specialized directional antennas, such as the SPD Margherita with a gain of 5.5 dBi and a wide beam angle of 110°. How the TrueRC Core antenna works

This is an omnidirectional circularly polarized (RHCP) antenna. It emits a uniform signal in all directions. Circular polarization effectively suppresses reflections and interference. You get a clean video image without artifacts. The durable housing protects the antenna during hard landings. Reliable coaxial cable holds its shape after bending. This way the drone maintains a stable connection even in the air.

Technical characteristics and functionality

The CORE model has a tiny head with a diameter of 16.9 mm and a height of 13.1 mm. The antenna gain is 1.9 dBi. The bandwidth covers the entire FPV range from 5.5 to 6.1 GHz. The standing wave ratio (VSWR) does not exceed 1.2:1. The manufacturer uses high-quality coaxial cables RG316S, RG402 and RG178.

The TrueRC Core 5.8 GHz antenna is available in several versions. You can choose a cable length of 80mm, 85mm, 100mm, 125mm or 160mm. Connection options: SMA, MMCX, MMCX90 and U.FL connectors. Models with a side cable exit (Side Feed) are conveniently placed inside the fuselage. The color scheme includes red, black, gray and turquoise.
