How does the thermal imaging module work?
A vanadium oxide microbolometer detects infrared radiation. Each 12 micron pixel converts heat into a signal. The processor processes the image at a frequency of 30 Hz. NUC, 3DNR, DRC algorithms improve the picture. You get clear thermal video output.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The iTL640x512 PRO model is sensitive to the range of 8–14 µm. Frame rate 30 Hz, startup time 5 seconds. Digital video is output in RAW, YUV, BT656 formats. Supported display modes: hot black, hot white, pseudo color. ICC software controls the module and displays video.
Electrical characteristics: 30Pin_HRS interface, USB Type-C expansion board. Communication via RS232-TTL or USB 2.0. Supply voltage 4.0–5.0 VDC. Typical power consumption 0.7 W. Temperature measurement in the ranges from -20 to +150°C and from 0 to +550°C. Accuracy ±2°C or ±2%. Supports output of maximum, minimum and average temperatures in an area.
