Operating principle and features for skippers
The Argut A-36 radio station is specially designed to operate in the river and sea frequency range 300–339 MHz. It operates in analog mode with frequency modulation (FM). Thanks to the high degree of protection IP66 (dust- and waterproof), the radio is not afraid of rain, splashes and even strong water jets. This is critical for open deck use.
The receiver has a sensitivity of 0.16 µV, which ensures excellent communication quality. The transmitter develops a power of 4–5 W. The device supports 199 channels with flexible grid spacing: 5, 6.25, 10, 12.5 and 25 kHz. Built-in CTCSS/DCS functions for protection from strangers, VOX for voice activation and Dual Watch for monitoring two channels. There is also an FM radio for receiving stations 76-108 MHz.
The Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh (7.4 V) provides up to 7.5 hours of operation in high power mode with a 5/5/90 cycle. Operating temperature range from -30 to +60°C. Dimensions 62×116×37 mm, weight 235 g. Antenna connector SMA-female.
