Operating principle and applications
The Benewake TF03-100 rangefinder uses a pulse method for measuring the time of flight of a laser pulse (Time-of-Flight). The Class 1 laser with a wavelength of 905 nm is completely safe for the eyes . The device emits a short pulse of light and measures its return time, calculating the distance to the object. Built-in compensation algorithms ensure stable operation even in bright sunshine and in rain, fog or snow conditions.
The sensor is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles: altitude holding, automatic landing, obstacle avoidance. Widely used in vehicle collision avoidance systems, traffic flow counting, industrial safety and security systems.
