This is an excellent 32-bit advanced brushless camcorder gimbal controller. It has encoder for 5D2 5D3 BMCC camera.

New functionality

  • Built-in IMU;
  • Current sensor for monitoring battery energy consumption;
  • CAN bus to replace I2C for IMU sensor integration and other peripheral extensions;
  • Dedicated 3 SPI/PWM ports for enabling the encoder;
  • Second I2C port for integrating a second IMU or encoder;
  • Built-in sound alarm;
  • Supports LiPo battery up to 6s.

  1. Protects against loss of synchronization of motors and skipping steps.
  2. Gives information about the angles of the frame and the camera, relative to the frame. For many applications this is critical information.
  3. Significant reduction in energy consumption thanks to a targeted control strategy for driving the motors.
  4. Instant increase in torque.
  5. Gives the controller information about the camera position for automatic balancing. Using additional DC servos and moving counterweights.
  6. The firmware retains the ability to manually adjust the camera position.
  7. Increased stabilization accuracy thanks to special FOC compensations.
