Operating principle and intelligent functions

SKYRC B6neo+ is a microprocessor charger with fully automatic charging algorithms for all types of batteries. The intelligent system determines the type of battery connected. It automatically selects the optimal mode and controls all process parameters, including voltage, current and temperature.

The built-in 600mA current balancer ensures precise voltage equalization of each cell, which is critical for lithium high voltage (LiHV) batteries up to 4.35V per cell. For nickel batteries, the Re-Peak charging method is used. It accurately determines the moment of full charge by delta peak, and for lead batteries special AGM and Cold Charge modes are available for operation at low temperatures.

A key feature of the B6neo+ is the ability to be powered both from a traditional DC source (DC 5-30V) and from modern chargers with support for USB Power Delivery 3.1. This allows the use of one powerful GaN adapter to power a charging station in the field.

The maximum charging power reaches 240W when powered by DC and 126W when powered by PD, which is enough to quickly charge the largest 6S batteries. The charge current is adjustable from 0.3 to 10 A in 0.1 A increments.
