Operating principle and features of use
LiitoKala HG2 batteries are 18650 lithium-ion cells without a built-in protection board. They are intended for use in devices that already have their own charge control system, or for creating battery assemblies with a separate BMS controller.
During operation, chemical energy is converted into electrical energy due to the movement of lithium ions between the electrodes. Their ability to deliver high currents makes them ideal for powering high-power FPV transmitters. Since such devices can consume up to 2-3 amperes, ensuring stable operation without voltage drops.
They are also great as a power source for portable field charging stations, cordless screwdrivers and other tools. Due to their high capacity, two such elements in series connection form a 2S 7.4 V battery, which can be used to power receivers and other on-board equipment.
For charging, be sure to use a specialized charger with Li-Ion mode, which provides the correct CC/CV algorithm and control of the final voltage of 4.2 V per cell.
