How does this autopilot work?
The autopilot receives data from GPS, barometer and inertial sensors. It calculates the current position and orientation of the drone. Then it adjusts the control of motors and servos. The drone follows the specified route exactly. You get complete control over the flight.
The system uses complex stabilization and navigation algorithms. They provide smooth movement even in turbulence. Redundancy of critical systems improves safety. Your drone will be able to complete the mission if it fails.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The device has two STM32H753 processors with a clock frequency of 480 MHz. Memory capacity includes 2 MB Flash and 1 MB RAM. Supports connection of up to three GPS receivers simultaneously. Operating voltage from 3.1 to 5.5 V. Current consumption is only 200 mA.
The dimensions of the board are 84.5x44.5 mm. The weight of the autopilot is 45 grams. Has 14 PWM outputs for controlling servos. Interfaces include UART, I2C, SPI and CAN. Compatible with most telemetry systems.
The autopilot supports all modern navigation functions. Including automatic take-off, landing and waypoint following. It is possible to build complex 3D routes. The system keeps a detailed log of all flight parameters.
