Operating principle and design
The 5.8G 50MM RHCP antenna operates in the 5500-6000 MHz frequency range, which is the standard for analog FPV video transmission. Thanks to circular polarization, it effectively combats interference that occurs when the signal is reflected from the ground and obstacles. Right Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) provides perfect compatibility with most popular FPV systems. 3.5 dBi gain creates an optimal radiation pattern, combining good range with wide coverage.
The 50 ohm input impedance and low VSWR (standing wave ratio) of 1.5 ensure that almost all of the transmitter's energy is lost to the airwaves rather than dissipated as heat. Its compact 50 mm long body and low weight make it ideal for installation on drones of any size.
