Operating principle and design features

This is a standard size digital HV servo designed for the most demanding aircraft modeling and drone applications. Its operation is based on a high-speed coreless electric motor. Unlike conventional brushed motors, a coreless motor has significantly lower rotor inertia, which allows it to accelerate and decelerate almost instantly. This provides exceptional positioning accuracy and rapid response to pilot commands, which is critical for controlling the load release mechanisms during a maneuver.

The servo housing has a standard width of 15 mm and is made of durable materials to ensure rigidity and efficient heat dissipation from internal components . The all-steel gearbox with double ball bearings ensures durability and resistance to the shock loads that are inevitable during hard landings of drones. The servo operates at 1520µs/333Hz and has a standard 25-tooth output shaft spline.

Specifications and customization options

The servo is not waterproof and requires protection from moisture. To power the servo drive at a maximum voltage of 13V, it is recommended to use specialized power distribution systems (PowerBox) that support high voltage, for example, the PowerBox Competition SHV, which allows you to power the servos directly from 3S LiPo. The ability to program a “soft start” allows you to smoothly activate the mechanisms, protecting them from sudden jerks when turning on the power.
