Operating principle and design features

The Argut A-11 radio station operates in analog mode with frequency modulation (FM). The direct conversion receiver provides excellent sensitivity of 0.2 µV with a signal-to-noise ratio of 12 dB. Adjacent channel selectivity reaches 60 dB and intermodulation selectivity is also 60 dB, which minimizes interference from other radios.

Suppression of side reception channels is 70 dB. The transmitter output power is switchable between low (0.5 W) and high (2 W). Frequency stability is maintained within ±3 ppm. The maximum frequency deviation is 2.5 kHz at 12.5 kHz steps and 5 kHz at 25 kHz steps. The rated audio output power is 0.5 W, which is enough for clear audibility in noisy environments.

The coefficient of nonlinear distortion in the ultrasonic frequency path does not exceed 3% (reception) and 5% (transmission). The built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh and a voltage of 3.7 V ensures long-lasting battery life. Charging is carried out via a standard charger.
