Choose the compact 2D lidar FDROBOT LD500 for precise navigation and mapping!
Get complete control over the space around your device. The FDROBOT LD500 laser scanner provides a 360-degree all-round view and measures the distance to objects from 3 centimeters to 12 meters. A high measurement frequency of 5000 Hz and fast rotation of up to 13 Hz provide up-to-date data in real time. Light weight of 42 grams and 5V power supply makes it easy to integrate into robots and drones. Choose a reliable tool for autonomous systems.
-
360° all-round view. Covers the entire space around the device without blind spots.
-
High measurement frequency 5000 Hz. Provides detailed scanning and fast response.
-
Wide range 0.03–12 m. Allows you to work at close and medium distances.
-
Adjustable rotation speed 5–13 Hz. Adapts to the dynamics of a specific task.
-
Protection against external illumination 60 klx. Works stably in bright sunlight.
Operating principle and technical capabilities
The FDROBOT LD500 lidar uses laser pulse time-of-flight technology. The rotating module emits a laser beam with a wavelength of 905 nm (class 1, eye-safe). The signal reflected from objects is captured by a photodetector, and the built-in processor calculates the distance. The angular resolution is 0.8 degrees, which allows you to obtain a detailed map of the environment.
Measurement accuracy varies from ±15 mm at short distances to ±30 mm at long distances. The UART interface with a high speed of 230400 baud ensures fast data transfer to the control controller.
The FDROBOT LD500 lidar is ideal for automated vehicles (AGVs), mobile robots and drones. It is widely used in navigation, indoor mapping and collision avoidance systems. Compact dimensions and low power consumption make it easy to integrate into limited spaces.
