Working principle and conversion efficiency
The Dokio 100W solar panel converts the energy from sunlight into direct electrical current. It is based on monocrystalline silicon solar cells, which are highly sensitive to light and provide a conversion efficiency of more than 20%. This means that the panel will generate energy even in cloudy weather or when the angle of incidence of the rays is not optimal.
The electrical characteristics of the panel are carefully calibrated to charge standard 12-volt batteries. The open circuit voltage is 22.5 V and the operating voltage under load is 18 V with a current of 5.56 A. Thanks to the high quality of components and protective glass, the panel can be operated in a wide temperature range from -45 to +80 degrees Celsius. The manufacturer guarantees that even after 25 years of use the panel will retain at least 80% of its original power.
