Order a high-performance 4-blade propeller for powerful thrust for your aircraft-style drone!
Ensure confident acceleration and stable flight. The four-blade propeller creates a significantly larger air capture area. The cross-shaped connector for 4 blades securely fixes the blades to the hub. Durable polycarbonate withstands rough landings. Choose maximum performance for your drone.
- Rigid cross connector: Ensures alignment and synchronized rotation of all blades.
- Increased blade area: Creates powerful thrust for aircraft types of drones.
- High flight stability: Four blades improve controllability in crosswinds.
- Reduced vibration level: Precise geometry reduces stress on the flight controller.
- Optimal balance with the motor: Allows efficient use of the power of the power plant.
How does a four-blade propeller work and its design?
The connector has the shape of a cross, which rigidly connects the four blades at right angles. This design evenly distributes centrifugal forces. The propeller converts the rotation of the motor shaft into aerodynamic thrust, throwing the air back. The increased number of blades (from 2 to 4) increases the air capture area. This gives an increase in thrust at the same speed, which is critical for heavy aircraft drones.
The rigid spider eliminates wobble and flutter for a perfectly balanced spin. This reduces vibration transmitted to the flight controller and FPV camera.
Specifications and installation
| Characteristics | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Rotation diameter | 5-12 inches (depending on drone class) |
| Number of blades | 4 (2CW / 2CCW) |
| Material | High strength polycarbonate (PC) or reinforced nylon |
| Hub diameter | 6–12 mm |
| Shaft hole diameter | 1.5mm, 3mm or 5mm |
| Hub thickness | 5–8 mm |
When installing, make sure the propeller rotation direction matches the motor type (CW/CCW). The crosspiece connector must be tightly secured with a nut or screw. Before flight, check the propeller balance. Minor imbalance can be corrected with tape or lightly removing material from the heavy blade.
Applications for model aircraft and drones
4-blade propellers are indispensable on flying wings and high-load aircraft. They are effective when flying with additional equipment (cameras, sensors, cargo drop). In conditions of limited take-off space, they provide a quick take-off.
