Operating principle and technical details

Charger HTRC B6V2 operates on the principle of an intelligent current and voltage source. Depending on the selected mode and battery type, it supplies a stabilized charge. For LiPo batteries, the CC/CV (Constant Current / Constant Voltage) algorithm is used. The device first supplies constant current until a peak voltage is reached. It then switches to constant voltage mode, gradually reducing the current.

In parallel with this, a balancing scheme works. It connects to the balancing connector of the battery. The device constantly compares the voltage on each cell (bank). If one cell charges faster, the balancer discharges it through a resistor. This allows the remaining cells to “catch up” with it.
