How does this powerful motor work?
QX-Motor 4208 380KV is a brushless motor with an external rotor (Outrunner). It is the outer part of the housing with magnets that rotates. This design creates high torque for efficient rotation of large screws. The key parameter is KV 380 (rpm per volt). This value is ultra-low, ideal for powering high voltage LiPo 6S batteries.
The motor does not strive for a huge rotation speed, but generates maximum torque. It is used in conjunction with large propellers (eg 15x5.5) to lift heavy payloads on professional platforms.
The QX-Motor 4208 380KV is ideal for professional hexacopters, octocopters and VTOL vehicles carrying heavy payloads - from agricultural sprayers to survey systems and cargo platforms. It is also used in large aircraft and VTOL, electric and hybrid drives.
